Senior Tax Associate

Job Description:

The Senior Tax Associate is responsible for managing complex tax engagements, reviewing work prepared by junior staff, and assisting with planning strategies for clients. This role requires in-depth tax knowledge and client-facing experience.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and review complex tax returns (individual, corporate, partnership)
Oversee and mentor Tax Associates and Interns
Identify and communicate tax planning opportunities to clients
Perform technical research and draft memos or reports
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
Participate in client meetings and manage relationships

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s in Taxation preferred)
CPA license required
3–5+ years of public accounting tax experience
Strong knowledge of tax laws and accounting principles
Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff
